NBA Chink Fans?

People and players around the NBA tried to greet their "Chinese" fans in China a Happy Chinese New Year.

But it didn't go so well.

Okay first things first, great marketing job. Selling to a billion people is always a good idea. But being insensitive if not ignorant, not so good.

Let me see, where did they go wrong, there are a few, question is where do I start.

Lance Stephenson, man, okay I can give you a pass, lots of Asians can really Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee your behind anyway, probably even my teenage son who has been practicing martial arts since he was six years old can do so if he needed to.

Two, calling a typical Chinese person a dawg, is not really something you would want to do. Hmmm, culturally not good.

Three, Chinese New Year is celebrated not only in China but by a number of other Asian countries and by Asians living away from their homeland.

And lastly, JJ, wow, you really needed that apology for that huge slip of the tongue, if it was really a slip. (Starting at 0.51).

But, who ever edited this video and put it out there... wow, great job.
